1. Matthew 24:6-8 (NKJV) "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows."
2. Matthew 24:24 (NKJV) "For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
3. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NKJV) "Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition."
4. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 (NKJV) "Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."
5. Matthew 24:14 (NKJV) "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
6. Matthew 24:21 (NKJV) "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be."
7. Matthew 24:30 (NKJV) "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
8. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV) "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
9. Revelation 21:1-4 (NKJV) "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.'"
10. Matthew 24:42 (NKJV) "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."
11. Mark 16:15 (NKJV) "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'"
12. John 14:16-17 (NKJV) "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
13. 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV) "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

How We Make It Through This...| The Todd Coconato Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Stock market crashes...war breaking out in Israel...the world is on FIRE! How will we make it through this? Listen to today's important broadcast!
Show notes:
I want to speak to you about the importance of having a real and authentic relationship with the Lord, especially in the times that are coming. In a world that is increasingly uncertain and challenging, our faith must be rooted deeply in a personal, genuine connection with God. Let us delve into the Word of God and understand how we can build and maintain this relationship.
1. John 15:4-5
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Commentary: Jesus emphasizes the necessity of staying connected to Him. Just as a branch draws life from the vine, we must draw our spiritual sustenance from Christ. Without Him, our efforts are fruitless. This verse reminds us that our relationship with Jesus is not optional; it is essential for spiritual vitality and effectiveness.
2. Philippians 3:10
“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”
Commentary: Paul’s desire was to know Christ intimately, experiencing both His power and His sufferings. This deep, personal relationship involves sharing in the life and experiences of Jesus. Authentic faith seeks to understand and be united with Christ in every aspect.
3. James 4:8
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
Commentary: James encourages us to take the initiative to approach God. This verse promises that when we seek God sincerely, He will respond. It also calls for repentance and purity, highlighting that an authentic relationship with God requires a transformation of heart and actions.
4. Jeremiah 29:13
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Commentary: God promises that He can be found by those who seek Him wholeheartedly. This verse assures us that God is not distant or unattainable; rather, He is accessible to those who earnestly desire Him. A genuine relationship with God requires a wholehearted pursuit.
5. Psalm 63:1
“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.”
Commentary: David’s psalm expresses a deep longing for God, depicting a soul in desperate need of His presence. This verse illustrates the intensity of an authentic relationship with God, one that recognizes our dependence on Him in a spiritually barren world.
6. Matthew 22:37
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’”
Commentary: Jesus defines the greatest commandment as loving God completely and entirely. This love encompasses our emotions, will, and intellect, demonstrating that an authentic relationship with God involves every part of our being.
7. 1 John 2:3-4
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
Commentary: John teaches that obedience is a mark of truly knowing God. Our relationship with Him is authenticated by our actions. Claiming to know God without following His commands is self-deception.
8. Romans 12:2
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Commentary: Paul urges believers to resist conforming to worldly standards and instead undergo a transformation through a renewed mind. This transformation helps us understand and live out God’s will, deepening our relationship with Him.
9. Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Commentary: Trusting God completely and acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives ensures His guidance. This trust is a foundational element of an authentic relationship with God, showing reliance on His wisdom over our own.
10. Colossians 3:16
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Commentary: Allowing the Word of Christ to permeate our lives leads to wisdom and mutual edification. This verse highlights the importance of Scripture in cultivating a rich and authentic spiritual life, impacting both personal and communal faith expressions.

The Call to Be Set Apart • Sunday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Good morning, church. Today, we will delve into a crucial aspect of our Christian walk—the call to be set apart. This call is not just an invitation but a mandate for every believer. Being set apart means living a life that reflects God's holiness and love in a world that often opposes His ways. This can be challenging, but it is essential for our spiritual growth and witness.

1. Called to Be Holy
1 Peter 1:15-16 (NKJV)"but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'"

2. A Distinct People
Deuteronomy 14:2 (NKJV)"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth."
3. Transformed by Renewal
Romans 12:2 (NKJV)"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
4. Light in the Darkness
Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV)"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
5. Living as Pilgrims
1 Peter 2:11-12 (NKJV)"Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation."

6. Walking in the Spirit
Galatians 5:16-17 (NKJV)"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish."
7. Embracing Suffering for Christ
2 Timothy 3:12 (NKJV)"Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution."
8. Bearing the Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."

Being set apart is not merely a command; it is our identity in Christ. It is challenging, often counter-cultural, and sometimes brings suffering. However, it also brings the joy of walking closely with God and witnessing His transformative power in our lives and the lives of others. Let us commit to living lives that honor God, shining as lights in this dark world, and drawing others to His marvelous light. Amen.

Why Some "Christians" Are Blind To What's Happening | The Todd Coconato Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give and support this ministry work: www.ToddCoconato.com/give

Spiritual Blindness and the Role of the Holy Spirit
Let's explore a profound truth found in God's Word: the reality of spiritual blindness and the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit. Many wonder why some people cannot see what seems so obvious to those who are filled with God's Spirit. Let's delve into Scripture to understand why this is so, drawing wisdom from the New King James Version of the Bible.
1. 1 Corinthians 2:14
"But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
Commentary: This verse clearly states that the natural man, one without the Holy Spirit, cannot understand the things of God. Spiritual truths are discerned spiritually, and without the Holy Spirit, they appear as foolishness. The Holy Spirit is essential for comprehending the deeper realities of God's kingdom.
2. John 14:17
"The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
Commentary: Jesus explains that the world cannot receive the Spirit of truth because it does not see or know Him. This highlights the separation between those filled with the Spirit and those who are not. The Spirit dwells within believers, enabling them to see and understand what others cannot.
3. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
"But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them."
Commentary: Paul reveals that the gospel is veiled to those who are perishing because their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, Satan. This spiritual blindness prevents them from seeing the light of the gospel. It underscores the need for the Holy Spirit to break through this darkness.
4. Ephesians 4:18
"Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart."
Commentary: This verse describes the condition of those without the Holy Spirit: their understanding is darkened, and they are alienated from the life of God. This blindness of heart is a result of ignorance, which can only be overcome by the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.
5. John 3:19-20
"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed."
Commentary: People often reject the light because they love darkness. This rejection is rooted in a desire to avoid exposure of their deeds. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no inclination to come into the light, as the Spirit convicts and draws us toward truth and repentance.
6. 1 John 2:11
"But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes."
Commentary: Hatred and sin cause spiritual blindness, leading people to walk in darkness. This verse illustrates how living apart from God's love results in blindness. The Holy Spirit, who fosters love, is essential for clear spiritual vision.
7. Romans 8:7
"Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be."
Commentary: The carnal mind is hostile to God and cannot submit to His law. This enmity creates a barrier to understanding spiritual truths. Only the Holy Spirit can transform the carnal mind, making it receptive to God's will.
8. Matthew 13:13
"Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand."
Commentary: Jesus used parables to illustrate spiritual truths. He acknowledges that many hear but do not understand because their hearts are not open. The Holy Spirit opens our hearts and minds to grasp the meanings behind Jesus' teachings.
9. Acts 26:18
"To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me."
Commentary: Jesus commissioned Paul to open the eyes of the spiritually blind, turning them from darkness to light. This mission underscores the transformative power of the Holy Spirit, who brings enlightenment and deliverance from the power of Satan.
10. 1 Corinthians 1:18
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
Commentary: The message of the cross appears as foolishness to those who are spiritually blind. To those with the Holy Spirit, it is the power of God. This contrast emphasizes the pivotal role of the Spirit in making the gospel understandable and powerful.
