Is It Midnight in America? • The Todd Coconato Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.orgTo Give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
On today's powerful episode we welcome a gentleman that I've gotten to know over the years who is the real deal. He's a pastor of Influence Church out there in Orange County area in California. He also is an author, and he's got a brand new book out called "It's Midnight In America". His name is Pastor Phil Hotsenpiller and we talk about his book that fearlessly uncovers the alarming slumber within the church, drawing parallels to the biblical narrative of Samson. Just as Samson unknowingly lost his power, the American church finds itself in a similar state, unaware of its diminished influence and complacent in the face of critical challenges. Through this book, readers will be awakened to the urgent need for revival and transformation.

Today, we dig deep into understanding our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit.
This concept is not metaphorical; it's a foundational truth that impacts how we live as believers.
We'll explore what it means to maintain this temple in a world that often seems at odds with spiritual purity and how the adversary attempts to corrupt this sacred dwelling.
1. **Our Body as God's Temple**- **Scripture:** 1 Corinthians 6:19-20"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
2. **Called to Purity**- **Scripture:** 2 Corinthians 7:1"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."
3. **Against the Wiles of the Devil**- **Scripture:** Ephesians 6:11-12"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
4. **Self-Care as Worship**- **Scripture:** 1 Corinthians 10:31"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
5. **Living Temples in Daily Life**- **Scripture:** Romans 12:1"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

In an age of endless entertainment and quick fixes, the call to return to the foundational truths of our faith has never been more urgent. Today, we focus on why we must move away from the reliance on entertainment and gimmicks in our spiritual practices and anchor ourselves in the Word of God.
1. The Power of God's Word Over Human Wisdom**- **Scripture:** 1 Corinthians 2:4-5"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power."
2. The Sufficiency of Scripture**- **Scripture:** 2 Timothy 3:16-17"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
3. The Dangers of Itching Ears**- **Scripture:** 2 Timothy 4:3-4"For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
4. Worship in Spirit and Truth**- **Scripture:** John 4:23-24"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the spirit and in truth."
5. Christ, the Foundation**- **Scripture:** 1 Corinthians 3:11"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Lay Off the Junk Food — Feast on the Word • Sunday Service
👉 To Give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
👉 Website: www.PastorTodd.org
Today we stand at a crucial juncture, a moment that demands our utmost attention and spiritual discernment. The devil, our adversary, has cunningly laid out a buffet of spiritual "junk food"—distractions, falsehoods, and trivial pursuits—that sap our strength, dilute our devotion, and divert our gaze from the eternal to the ephemeral.
1. Hebrews 5:12-14 (NKJV): "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
2. Matthew 4:4 (NKJV): "But He answered and said, 'It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’"
3. Ephesians 6:17 (NKJV): "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;"
4. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV): "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
5. 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV): "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
It is here, in the presence of God and in the pages of His Word, that we find the strength, wisdom, and sustenance to face whatever lies ahead. let us lay off the junk food, beloved, and let us feast on the real meat of the Word. Amen.

"Closing the Wrong Doors" • Friday Service
#closingwrongdoors #toddcoconato #remnant #fridayservice #rrc
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To Give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Tonight we gather in the presence of the Lord today to address a critical aspect of our walk with Christ—closing the wrong doors.
1. Revelation 3:7-8 (NKJV):
"‘And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.’”
2. 2 Timothy 2:22 (NKJV):
"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
3. James 4:7 (NKJV):
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
4. Ephesians 4:27 (NKJV):
"nor give place to the devil."
5. Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV):
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Closing the wrong doors means consciously choosing the narrow gate, despite its difficulty and the fewer numbers who choose it. The theological depth here is immense; our salvation and sanctification are worked out as we choose, again and again, the narrow way of Christ over the broad ways of the world.

Don't Let The Heaviness Of This Hour Steal Your Joy | The Todd Coconato Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
1. Our Distinct IdentityThe words of Jesus in John 17:16, "They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world," are a profound reminder of our unique identity as followers of Christ. This distinction is not merely about behavior or morality; it's about belonging. We belong to the Kingdom of God, governed by divine principles and the law of love. Our actions, choices, and lifestyle should reflect this kingdom citizenship, demonstrating values that often contrast with worldly norms. This realization empowers us to engage with the world from a position of spiritual security and confidence, knowing we're ambassadors of Christ's kingdom.
2. The Source of Our JoyPhilippians 4:4 commands us to "Rejoice in the Lord always." This is a joy not dependent on circumstances because its source is the eternal, unchanging nature of God Himself. It's a call to find delight in our relationship with God, in His promises, and in the salvation He has given us through Jesus Christ. This joy acts as a wellspring of strength (Nehemiah 8:10), enabling us to face life's challenges with a steadfast spirit. By keeping our focus on God and His goodness, we cultivate an attitude of joy that transcends our external conditions.
3. The Nature of God's PeaceThe peace that Paul speaks about in Philippians 4:6-7 is not as the world gives. It's a peace "which surpasses all understanding," a divine calm that doesn't make sense from a human perspective. It guards our hearts and minds, providing stability and serenity in the midst of chaos. This peace comes from casting our anxieties on God through prayer and supplication, coupled with thanksgiving. It's a peace that reflects a deep trust in God's sovereignty, knowing that He is in control and that His plans for us are for good.
4. Setting Our Minds on Heavenly ThingsIn Colossians 3:2, when Paul instructs us to "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth," he's guiding us towards an eternal perspective. This doesn't mean we ignore the reality of our lives or the needs of those around us. Rather, it means our ultimate hope, our ultimate joy, and our ultimate peace are not tied to the temporal but to the eternal. By focusing on the things of God—His Kingdom, His righteousness, His promises—we anchor ourselves in what is unshakeable. This perspective shapes our priorities, influences our decisions, and determines our reactions.
5. Overcoming Through ChristFinally, John 16:33 encapsulates the victorious assurance we have in Jesus. "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Jesus does not promise a life free from trouble, but He promises His overcoming power. This is the bedrock of our hope and peace. In every trial, in every moment of uncertainty, we have a victor on our side. Being "of good cheer" isn't about denying difficulties; it's about holding onto the victory we have in Jesus, even in the face of tribulation.
As we reflect on these Scriptures, let us commit to living out our heavenly citizenship with joy, peace, and a focus on the eternal. Let's engage with the world from a place of divine assurance, embodying the Kingdom of God in our everyday lives. May our lives be a testament to the overcoming power of Jesus, as we navigate this world anchored in the hope and truth of His Word. Amen.
