The Enemy Seeks War
We are in a spiritual battle. The drumbeats of war grow louder, and the enemy of our souls desires nothing more than destruction, bloodshed, and death. But as believers, we must recognize the true battle is not of flesh and blood—it is spiritual.
Satan has always sought to bring death, while God is the author of life and peace. Today, let us look at the contrast between the enemy’s agenda of destruction and God’s call to peace.
1. The Enemy’s Desire for Death
Satan’s strategy has always been to kill, steal, and destroy. Jesus makes this clear in John 10:10:
John 10:10 (NKJV)“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
From the very beginning, Satan has sought to bring death. In the Garden of Eden, he deceived Eve, leading to sin and the entrance of death into the world (Genesis 3). When Cain murdered Abel, it was the enemy stirring up jealousy and rage (Genesis 4). Throughout history, Satan has worked to destroy nations, stir up conflict, and lead people into war and bloodshed.
2. Satan Wanted Mass Death in the Days of Moses and Jesus
Satan has targeted entire generations for destruction. When Moses was born, Pharaoh, under satanic influence, ordered the murder of every Hebrew baby boy to prevent deliverance.
Exodus 1:22 (NKJV)“So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, ‘Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.’”
Similarly, when Jesus was born, Herod, acting as a puppet of the enemy, sought to kill Him by ordering the massacre of innocent children.
Matthew 2:16 (NKJV)“Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.”
In both instances, Satan tried to destroy deliverers before they could fulfill God’s plan. And today, the enemy still stirs nations to war, seeking to destroy millions before they can find salvation.
3. The Enemy Seeks to Stir Up War, But God Calls for Peace
As tensions rise in the world, we must recognize the spiritual battle at play. The enemy seeks to manipulate leaders into conflict, pushing nations toward devastation. Yet Jesus calls His followers to a different path:
Matthew 5:9 (NKJV)“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
God does not delight in war and destruction. He desires for His people to be agents of peace, speaking truth and interceding for the nations. He warns against unjust violence and reminds us of His power over the plans of the wicked.
Psalm 46:9 (NKJV)“He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.”
4. The Ultimate War Is Spiritual
While earthly conflicts rage, the real war is spiritual. The Apostle Paul reminds us that our true battle is not against flesh and blood:
Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Satan wants us distracted by physical wars so that we do not see the spiritual battle. He wants to fill the earth with death, but God has given us weapons of warfare that are mighty through Him. Our battle is won through prayer, fasting, and standing firm in God’s truth.
5. God’s Desire for Life and Redemption
Despite the enemy’s schemes, God is sovereign. His heart is always to save and redeem, not to destroy.
2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
Though war may seem inevitable in the eyes of the world, we as believers must not fall into despair or hatred. Instead, we must pray for leaders to seek wisdom, for people to turn to Jesus, and for God’s peace to reign.
Stand for Peace, Stand in Prayer ✅
The enemy wants war, but God calls for peace. Satan wants death, but Jesus offers life. The world is being pushed toward destruction, but as believers, we must stand in the gap, intercede, and declare God’s will over the nations.
Let us pray and declare God’s peace over our world. Amen.

Healing and Healthy Relationships: The Biblical Path to Wholeness • Sunday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To support this important work: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is that healing is not just for the body—it is for the heart, mind, and soul. Many of the struggles we experience in relationships stem from unhealed wounds, whether from past hurts, trauma, sin, or unmet expectations. God desires for us to be whole, and when we walk in healing, our relationships reflect His love, peace, and purpose.
Today, we will examine what the Bible says about healing and how a healed person interacts in a healthy relationship. We will also contrast this with relationships that are broken due to unhealed wounds.
I. God’s Desire for Our Healing
Before we talk about relationships, we must first understand that healing is a priority in God’s kingdom. He does not want His children to walk through life carrying pain and brokenness.
1. God is Our Healer
Exodus 15:26 (NKJV)“and said, ‘If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.’”
2. Healing the Brokenhearted
Psalm 147:3 (NKJV)“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
II. The Danger of Unhealed Wounds in Relationships
When we do not allow God to heal us, our relationships can become dysfunctional. Hurt people hurt people. Unresolved pain can manifest as bitterness, insecurity, control, or fear, leading to unhealthy interactions.
3. A Bitter Heart Defiles Others
Hebrews 12:15 (NKJV)“looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;”
4. Unforgiveness Blocks Healing
Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJV)“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
5. Brokenness in Relationships is Often a Result of Our Own Wounds
James 4:1-2 (NKJV)“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.”
III. What a Healed Person Looks Like in a Relationship
A person who has been healed by God is able to engage in relationships with love, peace, and wisdom. Let’s look at the characteristics of a healed person.
6. A Healed Person Walks in Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
7. A Healed Person Brings Peace into Relationships
Romans 12:18 (NKJV)“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.”
8. A Healed Person Listens and Responds with Wisdom
Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV)“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
9. A Healed Person is Secure in Christ
Colossians 2:10 (NKJV)“and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”
10. A Healed Person is Guided by the Holy Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
The Call to Healing:
If you find yourself in broken relationships, ask yourself: Am I fully healed? Have I surrendered my wounds to Jesus? Many times, we want others to change, but God is first asking us to let Him transform our hearts.
Healing is not just for us—it is for those around us. A healed person brings health into every relationship, while an unhealed person can unintentionally spread pain.
Today, let’s commit to allowing the Lord to heal our wounds, renew our minds, and make us whole so that our relationships can reflect His glory.
If you recognize that you have unhealed wounds that are affecting your relationships, I invite you to lay them at the feet of Jesus today. Whether it’s bitterness, unforgiveness, insecurity, or fear, God is here to heal you. Pray and ask Him to restore every broken place so that you can love others as He intended.
May we all walk in healing and wholeness, so our relationships shine as a testimony of God’s redeeming power. Amen.

Stepping Into Your True Calling: Walking in God’s Blessing by Avoiding Self-Appointment • Sunday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To support this important work: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
In the body of Christ, not everyone is called to the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers). While some are called to these offices, many have misallocated themselves, stepping into roles they were never anointed for. This is why many believers feel stuck, frustrated, and ineffective—because they are operating outside of God’s divine appointment.
God has promised that when we walk in our true calling, whatever we touch will be blessed and wherever we walk will prosper. But that promise is conditional—it only applies when we are in the right place, doing what He has truly called us to do. If we misstep and self-appoint ourselves, we risk missing the greatest blessings God has for us.
Let’s dive into the Word to understand why misalignment leads to stagnation and why true fulfillment comes from walking in our God-given assignment.
1. The Five-Fold Ministry Is Given by Christ, Not Self-Appointed
Ephesians 4:11-12 (NKJV)“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
2. Not Everyone is Called to Be a Teacher or Pastor
James 3:1 (NKJV)“My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.”
3. Every Part of the Body Has a Function
1 Corinthians 12:14-18 (NKJV)“For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, ‘Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,’ is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, ‘Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,’ is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.”
4. God Calls, He Does Not Need Human Approval
Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
5. Many People Run Without Being Sent
Jeremiah 23:21 (NKJV)“I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.”
6. True Blessing Comes From Alignment
Deuteronomy 11:24 (NKJV)“Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours.”
7. Many Are Stuck Because They Are Not in Their True Calling
Ecclesiastes 10:10 (NKJV)“If the ax is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; but wisdom brings success.”
8. Jesus Himself Appointed Disciples
Mark 3:14 (NKJV)“Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach.”
9. Operating Outside of Your Calling Leads to Trouble
Acts 19:13-16 (NKJV)“Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits… But the evil spirit answered and said, ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?’ Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them.”
10. The Key to Success is Obedience
Deuteronomy 28:1 (NKJV)“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God… the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
God’s greatest blessings come when we obey His voice. When we stop chasing titles and positions, and instead submit to our true Kingdom calling, God will bless our steps and everything we touch.
Instead of seeking position, seek His purpose—and the blessing
