Church, we are living in an hour that Jesus Himself warned us about more than any other. Not wars. Not famines. Not earthquakes. But deception. The greatest danger of the last days is not persecution alone, but confusion. Not opposition alone, but compromise. Not suffering alone, but falling away.
1. Jesus Warned Us Deception Would Be the Primary Sign
Matthew 24:4–5 (NKJV)“And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many.’”
2. Deception Increases Because Truth Is Rejected
2 Thessalonians 2:9–10 (NKJV)“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
3. Itching Ears Replace Endurance

14. God Is Raising a Remnant Who Will Stand
Revelation 3:10–11 (NKJV)“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”
Church, deception is increasing because compromise has been tolerated. Itching ears have replaced endurance. Entertainment has replaced discipleship. But God is calling His people back to truth, holiness, and fortitude.
This is not the hour to blend in. This is the hour to stand out. Not in arrogance, but in conviction. Not in fear, but in faith. Not in deception, but in truth.

1. Returning to Our First Love, Jesus Christ
Before we do anything for God, we must be with God. This hour demands intimacy, repentance, and renewed devotion, not just activity.
Revelation 2:4–5 (NKJV): “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.”
2. Making Disciples, Not Just Converts
The assignment has never changed. We are not called to entertain the world, but to disciple it.
Matthew 28:19–20 (NKJV): “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
3. Watching and Staying Spiritually Alert
We are commanded to stay awake spiritually, discerning the times and refusing complacency.
Matthew 24:42 (NKJV): “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”
4. Living Holy and Set Apart Lives
Holiness is not optional. It is how we remain usable vessels in a dark world.

5. Redeeming the Time and Living Intentionally

6. Standing Firm in Truth Without Compromise

7. Occupying Until Jesus Returns
We are not waiting passively. We are working faithfully.

8. Walking Daily by the Power of the Holy Spirit
Christianity was never meant to be lived in human strength.
Acts 1:8 (NKJV): “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Church, this is not a time to drift. It is a time to return, rebuild, refocus, and rise. God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for surrendered, obedient, watchful, and faithful ones.
The question is not what the world is doing right now.
The question is whether the Church will do what God has clearly told us to do.
