Chosen for Such a Time as This • Sunday Service
To Give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
We often find ourselves in situations that challenge our strength, test our faith, and stretch our abilities. It is in these moments that we must remember that God has a purpose for each of us, and sometimes, we are placed in challenging circumstances to fulfill His divine plan. Today, we will explore the idea of being chosen for a particular challenge or "strike" in life, drawing inspiration from Scripture.
Scripture 1: Esther 4:14 (NKJV)
“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Scripture 2: Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
Scripture 3: Romans 8:28 (NKJV)**
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Scripture 4: Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Scripture 5: 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
As we reflect on these scriptures, we are reminded that each of us has been chosen for a purpose. The challenges, or "strikes," we face are not without meaning. They are opportunities for us to step into the roles God has prepared for us, to rely on His strength, and to trust in His plan.
Just as Esther, Jeremiah, Paul, and others were called to their moments of challenge, so too are we called to face our circumstances with faith, courage, and the assurance that God is with us, working all things for our good.
Let us not shy away from the challenges before us but embrace them, knowing that we are chosen for such a strike as this. Amen.

A Season of Spiritual Transition • Friday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give

We've stepped into a season of spiritual transition. Change is all around us. It will continue, but it's more than that. Things that have been will no longer be. In many cases, people will shift, platforms will shift. Some who were hidden will appear. Some who have been out there will disappear. Change is coming. We are headed into a storm. Some will thrive in this season, others will struggle substantially. The state of our heart is key. The state of our heart is key.The state of our intimacy with the Lord through prayer. Our prayer life is key. The foundation. The level of our faith and trust in God is also very important. Do we trust him? Are we all in? Are we sold out for him no matter what? That's a big question. No matter what, things that mattered before will not matter as much. Things that didn't matter as much before will matter a lot more now. We're not to be fearful at all.
We're to be wise. We're to seek the heart of God and let him guide our path and order our steps. God is teaching us to be prayer warriors. We need to learn how to do this. The situation that we once knew to be normal will no longer be possibly never again like that. It's a new period now. It's not all bad though. Praise God there will be some very powerful and very amazing things that are about to happen. These things will happen for those who have the heart of God and are about his business. They, these people will see tremendous mercy and grace. They will see miracles, signs, wonders, open doors, favor, tremendous favor.

Strength in the Waiting • Sunday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Waiting is one of the most challenging experiences in life, especially for believers who are often eager to see God's promises come to fruition. However, the waiting seasons are often the most important times for a Christian. It is during these moments of waiting that God shapes our character, deepens our faith, and fortifies us for the tasks ahead. These times of waiting are not wasted; they are moments of preparation for what’s to come.
Let’s explore how waiting builds character and strength, with examples from scripture and commentary on how we can apply this to our lives.
1. Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
2. Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!"*
3. James 1:2-4 (NKJV)“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
4. Romans 8:25 (NKJV)*"But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance."
5. Lamentations 3:25-26 (NKJV)"The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."
6. Psalm 37:7 (NKJV)"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass."
7. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
8. Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV)"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
9. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
10. Psalm 130:5-6 (NKJV)"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning—yes, more than those who watch for the morning."
Waiting seasons are often the most formative periods in our lives. It’s in the waiting that God builds character, refines our faith, and strengthens our hearts. Just as a seed grows beneath the surface before breaking through the soil, God is doing a deep work in us during these times. Let us embrace the waiting, knowing that God is at work, and trust that in His perfect timing, we will see the fulfillment of His promises. Remember, strength is built in the waiting.

The Zeal of Jehu: A Call to Righteous Action • Friday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Today, we are going to dive into the story of Jehu, a man chosen by God to execute His judgment on the house of Ahab and cleanse Israel of its idolatry. Jehu’s story is one of zeal, decisive action, and obedience to God’s command, yet it also serves as a warning about the dangers of incomplete devotion. Let’s explore the key scriptures to gain a complete understanding of Jehu’s mission and its implications for us today.
2 Kings 9:1-3 (NKJV)*"And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, 'Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead. Now when you arrive at that place, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his associates, and take him to an inner room. Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the LORD: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and flee, and do not delay.'”*

2 Kings 9:6-7 (NKJV)"Then he arose and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, 'Thus says the LORD God of Israel: “I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel. You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel."'”
2 Kings 9:16-17 (NKJV)*"So Jehu rode in a chariot and went to Jezreel, for Joram was laid up there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram. Now a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, 'I see a company of men.' And Joram said, 'Get a horseman and send him to meet them, and let him say, "Is it peace?"'"*

2 Kings 9:22 (NKJV)"Now it happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, 'Is it peace, Jehu?' So he answered, 'What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?'"

2 Kings 9:24 (NKJV)"Now Jehu drew his bow with full strength and shot Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot."

2 Kings 9:30-31 (NKJV)"Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window. Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, 'Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?'"
2 Kings 9:32-33 (NKJV)"And he looked up at the window and said, 'Who is on my side? Who?' So two or three eunuchs looked out at him. Then he said, 'Throw her down.' So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot."
2 Kings 10:16 (NKJV)"Then he said, 'Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD.' So they had him ride in his chariot."
2 Kings 10:28-29 (NKJV)*"Thus Jehu destroyed Baal from Israel. However, Jehu did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin, that is, from the golden calves that were at Bethel and Dan."
2 Kings 10:30-31 (NKJV)*"And the LORD said to Jehu, 'Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.' But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart
