Stay the Course, Being Steady in the Lord in the Mist of a Volatile World • Sunday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
We are living in a time when everything around us seems to be shaking. Nations are shaking, economies are shaking, families are under pressure, and even within the visible church there is instability and compromise. Headlines change by the hour, but the Word of God has not changed. The Lord is raising up a people who will not be driven by fear, trends, or the latest crisis, but who will stay the course and remain steady in Him even when the world is volatile.
God is not surprised by this hour. He has already prepared a path for His people. He has given us His Spirit, His Word, and His promises so that we can stand firm, endure, and even flourish when others are losing hope.
1. Steadfast when everything is shaking
First, God calls us to be steadfast and unmovable. He does not want a fearful, fragile church, but a steadfast people who know whom they have believed.
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
2. Running with patience, eyes on Jesus
To stay the course in a volatile world, we must run the race God has set before us with patience and with a clear focus on Jesus Himself.
Hebrews 12:1 2
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
3. Guarding your heart and mind with peace
In a volatile world, anxiety comes knocking each day. But the Lord has given us a way to walk in supernatural peace in the middle of chaos.
Philippians 4:6 7
“Be careful for nothing but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 26:3
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee.”
4. God is our refuge when the earth trembles
There are times when the shaking is not just emotional or personal, but global. Even then, God promises to be our refuge and strength.
Psalm 46:1 3
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.”
5. Trials that refine instead of destroy
Some of the volatility we face is not just out there in the world, it is in the form of personal trials. But in the kingdom, trials are not just random attacks. God uses them to refine, mature, and strengthen us.
James 1:2 4
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
6. Not troubled by the signs of the times
The Lord even spoke about the volatility of the last days. He told us about wars, rumors of wars, and shaking, yet He also told us how to posture our hearts.
Matthew 24:6
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Matthew 24:13
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
7. Planted, not blown around
In a volatile world, many people are tossed like leaves in the wind. But the righteous are called to be planted like trees by rivers of water.
Psalm 1:1 3
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Colossians 1:23
“If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven whereof I Paul am made a minister.”

Nehemiah: Rebuilding What Matters Most • Friday Service
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
1. Prayer Must Come Before Action
Nehemiah 1:4 (NKJV)“So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.”
2. God Uses People Who Care
Nehemiah 1:3-4 (NKJV)“And they said to me, ‘The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.’ So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.”
3. Favor Comes Through Faithful Obedience
Nehemiah 2:8 (NKJV)“And a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he must give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which pertains to the temple, for the city wall, and for the house that I will occupy. And the king granted them to me according to the good hand of my God upon me.”
4. Vision Requires Courage
Nehemiah 2:17 (NKJV)“Then I said to them, ‘You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.’”
5. Opposition Is Often Confirmation
Nehemiah 2:19 (NKJV)“But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, ‘What is this thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king?’”
6. Stay Focused on Your Assignment
Nehemiah 6:3 (NKJV)“So I sent messengers to them, saying, ‘I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?’”
7. Work and Warfare Often Happen Together
Nehemiah 4:17 (NKJV)“Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.”
8. Unity Accomplishes Great Things
Nehemiah 4:6 (NKJV)“So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.”
9. Repentance Leads to Renewal
Nehemiah 9:2 (NKJV)“Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.”
10. God’s Word Must Remain Central
Nehemiah 8:8 (NKJV)“So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.”
Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV)“Then he said to them, ‘Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’”

10 Ways Satan Quietly Derails Christians Before They Ever Fall • The Todd Coconato Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Most believers don’t wake up one morning and suddenly decide to walk away from God. Pastors don’t fall into immorality overnight, marriages don’t collapse in a weekend, and churches don’t drift in a single day.
Spiritual collapse is almost always a slow, subtle process.
We are pulling back the curtain on the enemy's master strategy. Satan’s greatest weapon isn’t always blatant temptation—more often, it is quiet distraction, discouragement, spiritual complacency, and gradual drift. If he can get you off course by just one degree today, he knows you will end up miles away from where God intended you to be.
Here we expose the 10 subtle traps the enemy uses to quietly derail your faith before a visible fall ever happens, and learn the practical biblical habits you need to stay alert, stay connected, and guard your heart.
We cover:The Slow Drift Before the Fall1. Replacing Passion with Spiritual Routine2. Normalizing Small Compromises ("The Little Foxes")3. Distracting You with Good Things (The Martha Syndrome)4. Using Offense to Poison Your Heart5. The Danger of Spiritual Isolation
The Hidden Traps of Spiritual Collapse6. Using Fear to Silence Your Faith7. Feeding Pride Disguised as Strength8. Exhaustion and the Loss of Discernment9. Slowly Desensitizing Your Conscience10. Shifting Your Eyes Off Jesus
How to Stay Spiritually Healthy & Finish Your Race Well
If you feel like you've been drifting, let today be your fresh start. The Holy Spirit doesn't convict us to condemn us; He convicts us to restore us.

Why So Many Christians Are Striving Instead of Abiding?
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
To support this show and ministry: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Are you constantly busy, constantly working, constantly trying harder, yet still feeling spiritually exhausted?
In today’s episode of The Todd Coconato Show, we tackle a struggle that many believers face but few talk about: striving.
There is a difference between working diligently and living under the weight of performance, pressure, and self-effort. God never called us to carry burdens that only He can carry. Jesus didn’t say, “Strive harder.” He said, “Abide in Me.”
We’ll discuss why so many Christians find themselves burned out, discouraged, and frustrated, even while serving God faithfully. More importantly, we’ll uncover the biblical key to walking in peace, fruitfulness, and true rest in Christ.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, this message is for you.
“Abide in Me, and I in you.” (John 15:4 NKJV)
Join us as we discover the freedom that comes when we stop striving and start abiding.

THIS IS A SEASON TO TRUST GOD • Sunday Service
To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give
Website: www.PastorTodd.org
The Freedom Found in Surrender
One of the greatest battles every believer faces is the battle for trust. We want answers. We want timelines. We want clarity. We want to know how everything is going to work out. Yet God often calls us to walk by faith before He reveals the full picture.
I believe we are in a season where the Lord is teaching His people to trust Him at a deeper level than ever before. Not trust in circumstances. Not trust in governments. Not trust in our own understanding. But trust in Him.
The beautiful reality is that trust produces freedom. When you truly trust God, you stop carrying burdens you were never designed to carry.
Point 1: Trust Releases Divine Direction
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Point 2: Trust Removes Anxiety
Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Point 3: Trust Allows God to Carry the Weight
Psalm 55:22 (NKJV)
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Point 4: Trust Produces Stability
Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)
“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”
Point 5: Trust Unlocks God’s Strength
Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles.”
Point 6: Trust Frees Us from Fear
Psalm 56:3-4 (NKJV)
“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God I will praise His word, In God I have put my trust; I will not fear.”
Point 7: Trust Opens the Door to God’s Provision
Matthew 6:31-33 (NKJV)
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Point 8: Trust Is Developed Through Trials
Romans 5:3-5 (NKJV)
“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Point 9: Trust Brings Rest
Hebrews 4:9-10 (NKJV)
“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.”
Point 10: Trust Leads to Freedom
John 8:31-32 (NKJV)
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Closing
I believe one of the greatest invitations God is extending to His people right now is simple:
Trust Me. Trust Me with your future. Trust Me with your family. Trust Me with your finances.
Trust Me with your ministry. Trust Me with the unanswered questions. Trust Me with the things you cannot fix.
The enemy wants you burdened, worried, anxious, and exhausted. But Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
There is incredible freedom available right now.
Freedom from fear. Freedom from striving. Freedom from anxiety. Freedom from needing to control everything.
The more you trust God, the more freedom you will experience.
And perhaps the greatest lesson you’ll ever learn is this:
You don’t have to carry what God has already promised to carry for you.
Trust Him.
He’s faithful. He’s good. And He’s already working on your behalf.
